Week 3 Project: Digital Storytelling with Mobile Devices Challenge

Workflow and App Documentation
For this team project our team worked really well together considering the circumstances. We had to split our team up to get our project done at the pace we needed to do it. Joshua and I had very good communication skills throughout this entire project. For all documents that we created Joshua used the Microsoft Word application on his iPhone. For his voice narration in the video he used the Voice Record Pro application also on his iPhone. I used VivaVideo, my phone camera, and also iMovie on iPad to create and record our video. We will be using multiple social media applications such as Facebook for promotion of our video to reach as many viewers as we can. Overall this was a great project and I am very proud of how the video turned out.

Individual Reflection Response
My roles in the team One for One consisted of assisting with the writing of the script, producing and editing the overall video, and also promoting the video. I contributed ideas to the script, applications to use, the first heard voiceover, and also feedback on every writing piece that we turned in as a group. What surprised me about the challenge is how difficult it is to edit a video on a mobile device. I wasn't able to edit everything I wished I could because the application that I used was not professional enough. I am most proud of how the video turned out overall. I think the info that we provided was very sufficient and educational, it was empowering, and also good quality for the applications that we used. I am proud of how the transitions turned out and also the overall feeling you get when you watch it. Yes indeed this was a challenge because their were many obstacles that we had to overcome, from our team members not participating and having to go our own ways, to putting in voiceovers and matching the photos up to the voices. It was very difficult but I definitely learned a lot.
